Blue moon hell you’re talking rubbish. Taking money out the ATM gets you the visa rate, exchanging cash gets you the tourist rate. Yes, there is a fee to do this with most cards, but the Nationwide doesn’t charge anything. For example, when you were getting 1.19-1.21 to the £ exchanging cash (& sometimes paying commission on top of that!) I was getting 1.25-1.27 with my Nationwide card.
