What is a divan bed?
Here’s a UK link for divan beds. The base of the bed may or may not have drawers and it appears that there is an option of having the base in two pieces depending on the manufacturer. They do not have frames or footboards, just the headboard. Hope this helps you. It is a nice high bed with drawers built right into the bottom of the box spring. A pretty clever idea. comes in all sizes from single 3/3 to queen 5/0 and has drawers built in the back on some models and on the sides in other models. Also comes with a wide assortment of contemporary headboards. I believe Divan is a brand name.
