FAMIS is a software program used by FMS to manage its work processes including corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, stores and parts inventory, time and attendance and cost accounting. The system automates the entire maintenance process from work identification to work completion. Its job costing features allow FMS to track and analyze labor, material and contractor costs and provide cost accounting to campus clients who use our services.

FAMIS is a software program used by Physical Plant to manage its work processes including corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, stores and parts inventory, time and attendance and cost accounting. The system automates the entire maintenance process from work identification to work completion. Its job costing features allow Physical Plant to track and analyze labor, material and contractor costs and provide cost accounting to campus clients who use our services. Physical Plant is currently in the process of evaluating upgrades to our current version of FAMIS to improve performance and ease of use by our campus clients. FAMIS (Facilities Asset Management Information System) is a suite of software modules providing a fully integrated approach to Facilities Management. The benefits will be improved efficiencies in operations, superior customer service and easier system use, resulting in lower costs. Modules to be implemented are: Maintenance Management, Inventory Control, Self Service, Wireless for Maintenance, Key Control, Utility Management, Capital Projects, Space Management, AutoCAD Interface, Visual Map, and a Banner Interface.
