What are the industries in edmonton?
There a butt load of “industries” in Edmonton. I live in E-town, and I find that there are indeed “industries” to the west, and to the east….(my buddy works at a hog rendering plant responsible for stinking up the Clareview neighborhood), a couple large industrial parks sorta south-east, between Sherwood park and the city; I guess kinda south of Ottewell, north of Jackson Heights/Millwoods area. I work in another industrial area, south of Argyll Road, North of Whitemud, around the 97st. What I would suspect to be Alberta’s – if not Canada’s largest industrial park/centre, lies a short 15 minute car ride SOUTH of the city. It’s called Nisku. Everybody knows somebody who works there. Nisku has got ALOT of industry going on; 6000 acres. (Leduc-County.com/buisness) Google “Nisku”, and see what comes up. No shortage of work out there.
