PCBC attendees are primarily comprised of executive/senior management level personnel from production homebuilding companies. [return to question list] What does PCBC stand for? The original name of the event, launched in 1959, was Pacific Coast Builders Conference. Since then, we’ve grown considerably in size and scope, serving a region much broader than the “Pacific Coast” and developing into a major tradeshow much larger than just a “Conference.” Still, the acronym PCBC is known and familiar to many throughout the industry, so attempts to change the name have not been embraced.
