What is Polaris doing to promote the sport of ATV?
MD: Last summer, Polaris announced the Right to Ride program which will provide grants to clubs and state/provincial associations to assist with land access, trail building and maintenance. Complete information on the Grant program may be found on the Polaris web site under the Riders heading. In January 2005 Polaris announced its sponsorship of GNCC racer Matt Smiley. In addition to Polaris factory effort with Smiley; the company offers a contingency program. The largest GNCC ATV contingency program ever, the potential pay out for GNCC is $250,000 and across all GNCC ATV classes, including the class champion. The maximum per race pay out is $2000 for the pro class. Polaris is currently the only manufacturer offering a contingency program for the new youth circuit.
