Why doesn pfaedit support Type 42 fonts?

A Type 42 font is a postscript wrapper around a truetype font. It is used for downloading truetype fonts to postscript printers. PfaEdit does not support these because support for truetype hints (such as it is) is relatively recent and I haven’t had time to look at type42 recently. You are much better off using ttftot42 for now.
