How can I get another refill for xanax?
my friend just went threw the same problem but she ran out of her percocet heres what she did she called her doctors office and ended up having to speak with the head nurse who confrimed that her medication was due to be filled so she called it into the pharmacy but it took her a lil bit cause the nurse had to get some sort of number but anyways try that
You call the doctor’s office and tell them you need a refill but it says “requires doctor’s authorization.” They will usually call it in to the pharmacy for you and it doesn’t have to be the doctor himself. A physician’s assistant or nurse can do it, as long as the doctor doesn’t want to see you first to make sure you still need it.
if the doctor’s office cannot call some more in to the pharmacy, there is no way, legally to get another prescription. plain and simple….unless you know someone who can give you some of theirs, you have to wait OR you could go to the emergency room and pay approx. $500 to $700 for the visit and some medication.
