What is a short-term loan?
A. Short-term loans are offered through the college. They are available to any qualifying student and are requested through the Financial Aid Office. Q. Who can apply for a short term loan? A. Any student who is a U.S. Citizen with a minimum GPA of 1.5 and attending a minimum of 6 credit hours and has never defaulted on a previous short-term loan. A co-signer is required. The co-signer must be a Florida resident over the age of 18 with a valid ID, not attending St. Petersburg College, and not the spouse of the student. The student will be required to have 25% of the tuition as a down-payment, and the remainder will be due in 60 days. For further details, see the Financial Aid Office. Q.
