Phones / faxing?

OK, no one has asked (as far as I’ve noticed), but I wanted to mention a few things about phones. There’s 2 phone lines in the office, and I have wiring for 4 lines to my desk from the closet (just in case, though in case of what exactly, I don’t know). I use a 2-line AT&T business phone for its fantastic caller-ID display and speaker capabilities. Customer debugging, meetings, and other long phone calls I use one of 3 Panasonic handsets with a wired Plantronics headset. Why 3? The batteries don’t last very long and take a while to charge. I only get about 6 hours of juice per battery charge, and some days I am on the phone 8+ hours, especially during heavy code integration times. During customer calls, I absolutely do not want the call to drop, so I’ll switch to a fresh and fully-charged handset for that call. The Pansonics are extremely light weight–they fit into a shirt pocket comfortably and let me walk around the house if needed (sign for UPS, get ice, move laundry). I use a sepa
