GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a standardized assessment—delivered in English—that helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. The test scores are mostly used for the purpose of shortlisting candidates for: 1. MBA/PhD in Business Management or Masters in programs offered by Finance, Human Resources, Marketing etc by universities/schools abroad 2. Executive MBA Programs offered by certain B Schools in India.
