You’ll always, ALWAYS, want to prime your sculpts before painting them. We use Krylon Grey Primer, available most everywhere. It reacts well with most plastics, and even most vinyls. Depending on our intended goal, we’ll often follow the grey with a coat of Krylon Flat White. This allows the acrylics to really show through vibrantly.
