The National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES), Fox Systems, Inc. in Arizona, was developed with the Department of Health and Human Services to process applications and assign NPIs. Fox Systems also stores information about enumerated providers and apply providers’ updates. Providers have 30 days to get any maintenance request or changes to Fox Systems.
