What is A Bomber Gives?
Being a Bomber means much more than wearing a mushroom cloud on the side of our helmet or strapping on a pair of shoulder pads on Friday night. Being a Bomber means representing Richland, not just during the football season but all year round. “A Bomber Gives” is a way to show the community how much we care about our neighbors and to show pride in the people that have helped raise us. During the summer and throughout the school year, members of the Bomber football team have volunteered their time to help make Richland a better place to live. Several players have been mowing lawns for elderly citizens and picking up trash at Fran Rish Stadium on Saturday mornings. Though these are just a couple examples of “A Bomber Gives”, we are hoping this becomes a tradition for our football team that is just as important as singing the fight song after a hard fought victory.
