Short sales are not allowed in the IEM. If you submit an ask to sell contracts you don’t have in your portfolio, the offer to sell will be processed, but the moment your offer becomes the best offer in the ask queue and would thus be revealed to other traders, it will be ruled infeasible and canceled.
