How much does a plot cost?

0

For 2009/10 a plot costs £8.04 per 100m2 for direct managed sites. Most plots are between 250-500m2, although plots can be split into half by prior arrangements with the Allotment Officer. Some sites have a metered mains water supply, on these sites the annual water bill is divided by the number of gardened plots to give each plot a water rate which is then added to the rent for the allotment. All bills are issued in April and cover the year in advance. Payment is due at the time of billing, bills unpaid for more than 40 days will result in termination of the tenancy for that plot. For the costs of Self Managed sites please consult with the appropriate Site Secretary.
