Who is Steve Moore?
Steve Moore is the Assistant Sheriff of the San Joaquin County Sheriffs Department. This is the #2 spot in the department which hes held since April, 2004. He has been with the Sheriff’s Office for over 24 years and has over 30 years total law enforcement experience. Steve Moore has commanded every major division with-in the Sheriff’s Office. During the past 24 years Steve has been working closely with the Board of Supervisors, County Administrators Office and other county departments developing a solid working relationship that has enabled Steve to respond to community problems and concerns. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology Law Enforcement from California State University, Fresno, and is a graduate of several advanced law enforcement academies including the F.B.I. National Academy in Quantico, VA and the California P.O.S.T. Leadership Conference, P.O.S.T. Management Course, P.O.S.T. Supervisors Course, and many others. Steve resides in Linden with his wife of 26 years
