What is an OEL?
An Organizational Equipment List (OEL) is a complete listing of unit equipment that is electronically maintained within Transportation Data Management systems for the purpose of planning and reporting. Primarily, the list consists of major end items in their primary shipping configuration such as vehicles and containers. Command visibility of these assets is essential to provide an indication of a unit’s equipment capabilities and transportation lift allocation requirements. All OELs must be updated annually between May and July.
