What is an SKU?
An SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is the method that we use to determine how to sell content. When you set up an SKU you are telling us how to distribute the content being packaged. For example: You have a video that you want consumers to pay for every 30 days, but you also want to use the same video on a different web site and give your consumers a chance to buy the video and the right to burn that video to a disc 3 times. In this situation you would package the content twice, once for each payment model, so that when a consumer accesses the content from one site we charge them appropriately based on the SKU associated with the file.
