Latent networks often lead to players losing valuable seconds (even minutes!) on their clock, but Timeseal resolves this problem. It calculates the time it takes to transmit a move from your computer to the PlayZone, and subtracts this time from your available thinking time. So summing up: without Timeseal, thinking time includes the transmission time, whereas with Timeseal this time is subtracted. At present, this option is only available with Windows.
