What does validation mean?
Hide Answer Some data entered in chims must be compared against a list of known valid values either provided by chims or entered into the chims database. This process is called validation. Data entered which does not validate is not allowed. Data which must undergo validation includes Chemical Owner, department, building, room, physical state, and unit of measure.
