What is the Accuplacer (formerly CPT)?
It is an assessment test. If you wish to enroll in an ACC certificate or degree program, you may be required to complete the Accuplacer assessment in English, reading, and mathematics. Assessment helps you and your Advisor select courses appropriate for your educational background and, in the long term, will help you succeed in college. Visit the ACC Testing Center for further information. If you are unsure if your program has an Accuplacer requirement, consult an Academic Advisor. You may satisfy the Accuplacer requirement by showing proficiency through ACT or SAT scores, or prior college learning.
