Does Modest Needs accept gifts of material goods (coats, clothes, etc.) for distribution to others?
Not at this time. Modest Needs simply does not have the staff or space available to receive, catalogue, and responsibly distribute tangible items. There are, however, several terrific organizations with the space, funding and personnel necessary to distribute goods to persons who need them the most. If you’d like to make a donation of this type, please consider either GoodWill or The Salvation Army.
