What is the difference between animated GIF and flash?
Animated GIF is multiple same-size pictures “stacked” in a way that displays each graphic in repetition. This format is supported by most graphical Internet browsers. A Flash graphic looks more like a motion picture because the images are more “fluid” in movement. Flash files require the person looking at the banner to have a special plugin loaded on the computer to enable viewing. There are some users who do not have the capability to view Flash files; we display alternate images for those users. Copyright © 2009 AuntMinnie.
