What is the Kane Edition?
The “Kane Edition” version of C&C3 is basically a limited deluxe version of the standard PC version. For the extra money, you get a special numbered box with an extra DVD featuring cast interviews, featurette videos, out-takes, and more, as well as wallpapers and other PC-DVD bonus features. Additionally, the actual game has special unit skins available only to players using the “Kane Edition”. When you play online, other players will see units under your control with the special skins. There are four special skins per side. GDI players will see enhanced skins for the Firehawk, Juggernaut, Predator, and Mammoth tank. Nod players will see enhanced skins for the Venom, Flame Tank, Avatar, and Scorpion Tank. Scrin players have enhanced Devastator, Planetary Assault Carrier, Stormrider, and Annihilator Tripod skins.
