• Relaxed parking means paid parking is not enforced in a specified area or parking lot for a certain time period. • When a parking area or lot is relaxed, the following are still enforced: • Disabled parking (blue zones) • Emergency parking (red zones) • Loading/timed zones (white zones) • Reserved stalls • Parking meters • Vehicles parked backwards in diagonal stalls • Other special parking areas (signed) • Relaxed parking may be requested by Department Heads or Deans only. Any requests for relaxed parking must be approved by Traffic Operations. • If you are planning to attend an event, do not assume there is relaxed parking. Please call ahead to find out if parking has been relaxed for your event.
