What is Ambulance cover?

0

Medicare does generally not cover ambulance fees. Ambulance cover is included in all HCF’s hospital products, or may be purchased on its own. HCF Ambulance cover provides you with 100% cover for emergency ambulance (state government services) for road or air ambulance, to the nearest hospital that can provide you with the care you need. You’ll also be covered for non-emergency ambulance by state government services, up to $5,000 per person per calendar year. Ambulance cover is not available to residents of Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland (this is covered by your State Government).
