Section 1 – What is Insaniquarium?
Insaniquarium is an action arcade game written by Flying Bear Entertainment and published by Popcap Games Inc. The game itself is built around life in a strange aquarium where your pet fish poop money, but you must defend them from aliens. A typical game will start you off with two fish and some cash. It costs you money to feed a fish, but as your fish grow bigger they will expel coins. Coins give you more money which allow you to buy more fish, special fish, weapon upgrades (to fight the aliens), and finally egg pieces, three of which are required to finish the level. Additionally, as you progress through the game you will earn “pets” that have special abilities that will make finishing levels easier. There are three different arcade modes, each with four different “tanks” or environments. There is also a fourth, more relaxing, mode called Virtual Tank that allows you to take care of pets you have permanently purchased without having to worry about the dangers in the regular game. Thi
