• ANSWER: Pitted glass is not really a good application for polishing. Since the little nicks in the glass are at different depths, you would need to feather away enough glass to reach the bottom of the deepest pit. To do this could cause distortion in the glass. If this pitting condition is impairing your vision; it might be time for glass replacement.
