What happens if the company or dealership that is offering the extended warranty isnt ultimately responsible for the contract?
Many companies that sell an extended warranty do so for another company. Many times the customer is unaware of the fact that the service agreement is between themselves and an entirely different company. This limits the customers ability to rectify any problems that may be experienced in the administration of the contract. Make sure that you understand who is responsible for the administration of the extended warranty and that you have recourse to rectify any concerns you may have with your coverage.
