How do I start using TimesPeople?
There’s nothing to install — all you have to do is sign up for TimesPeople. Follow these steps to join: • Browse to any NYTimes.com page. The TimesPeople toolbar automatically appears at the top of the page. (If you don’t see the toolbar, click the “TimesPeople” link in the top right corner of any NYTimes.com page, or click here to go directly to the Get Started page.) • On the left side of the TimesPeople toolbar, click “Get Started.” You’ll be guided through the process of signing up for TimesPeople (and, if you are not yet a member, registering for NYTimes.com). We strongly encourage you to use your real name, to help other users find you and add you to their networks. • Start building your network by inviting friends by e-mail, searching for other users, selecting from a list of suggested users, or importing your contacts. These options will be available after you enter your name and location. That’s it — you’re ready to start sharing!
