Astral Travel or Out of Body Experience -is the experience, whether spontaneous or induced, of traveling through the astral realm in which the energy of living beings leaves the physical body. It is also referred to as an Out-of-Body Experience; which occurs when the astral body leaves the physical body while the individual is at rest, asleep, near death, or temporarily dead. Practitioners of astral projection report that their consciousness or soul has transferred into an astral body (or “double”), which moves free of the physical body in a parallel world known as the astral plane.
