What has been the Waterfront Partnership’s record of accomplishment to date?
During the last 18 months, a diverse Board of Directors has been formed comprised of waterfront property owners, representatives of area attractions, residents and office tenants, as well as senior city officials. A management and operating agreement between the Partnership and City of Baltimore has been approved by the Board of Estimates; close to $2 million has been raised to fund initial operations intended to enhance the waterfront environment – allowing the waterfront to compete more favorably for visitors with other world-class destinations.
