What is the Atpic popularity algorithm?
We do not give the details of the algorithm because we tune the algorithm regularly and because we do not want people to trick it. The algorithm tries to detect the interest of Atpic visitors and members in Atpic pictures by looking at the behaviour that document generates. This includes the way the document is tagged, who tag the document, who is the author of the document, the number of times a document has been viewed, the interest it generated in number of comments, the vote for the document. The algorithm is complex. It is designed to avoid artificial increase in popularity.
