Does the Cypress Police Department offer the D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program?
The Cypress Police Department has been in the Cypress Elementary School District teaching the D.A.R.E. program for fifteen years and was one of the first departments to teach the program in Orange County. Currently we teach the D.A.R.E. core curriculum to students in the sixth grade level. We are teaching approximately eight hundred and fifty students a year. We also offer officer visitations to the lower grades in all of the elementary schools in the district. For more information regarding the D.A.R.E. program contact D.A.R.E. Officer Pam Kelch at (714) 229-6626, or click here.
