Does Wood dent and scratch?

0

Yes – wood contains a cell structure, therefore if enough pressure is applied it will collapse and a dent will appear. All wood will scratch – touch up kits are available depending on the wayer layer applied (i.e. polyurethane, wax, oil). We recommend the use of protective felt pads underneath furniture and castor cups to disperse pressure to avoid denting that might be a result of extremely heavy furniture. The floor must also be protected against exterior dirt and moisture by the use of barrier mats and maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
