What is the DHS Ready campaign?
In February 2003, DHS launched the Ready public awareness campaign to raise awareness about the importance of being prepared before a terrorist attack or emergency occurs and to educate Americans about specific actions they can take to protect themselves, their families, and their communities. This multi-media campaign includes the website, http://www.ready.gov, public service announcements, print advertisements, brochures, and a toll-free number (1-800-BE-READY).
