PUR-polyurethane for building applications resists to a maximum temperature of +100°C, PIR-polyisocyanurate foam insulation on the other hand resists to +130 up to 150°C. However, the foam can briefly resist to higher temperatures during the processing, for instance when bonding the roof insulation board Bi3 with hot bitumen.
