Which is better: group vs. individual travel to Ukraine?
Agree with scopetravel.com "Group travel by far is still the best and most recommended way to visit Ukraine." Main reason it is language problems. No labels in english, just in russian. Even no english names on railwaystation. One my friend asked me why tourists come to Nikolaev (city in the south of ukraine)? there is nothing for tourists. It is easy to loose yourself somethere, do not find address or location you need. Also much cheaper to rent good 2 room apartment for 2 persons than 1 room for each person. Many many questions you will discover for yourself.

Group travel by far is still the best and most recommended way to visit Ukraine. The tourist infrastructure is not that well developed, and unless you are a very well seasoned traveler – and speak a Slavic language; traveling in Ukraine without a group may be expensive, lengthy, unpleasant and hazardous. Most tour operators offer pre and post tour extensions; this would allow you to incorporate any destination that is not on tour into your personal itinerary.
