In its most basic form, a Caring Community is built around people who wish to be resources for others and those who may have situations affecting their ability to participate in life as fully as they wish. It is the link that unites our needs and offers of help. Our CitizensMatch Program offers two online places where acts of caring are valued. People and businesses band together as they strike up relationships that make a difference in their lives, communities and even their bottom line. The first, our Caring Community Mapping database, offers a place where anyone from the communities can either post a need or list an offer using the technology of the internet and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.
