All answers must be entered on an Answer Sheet during the 60-minutes allowed. Candidates may first write their answers on the Question Paper if they wish to, but no extra time is allowed to transfer answers to the Answer Sheet.

Candidates write their answers on the Listening Question Paper during the test. At the end of the recording they are given 10 minutes to transfer their answers onto the Listening Answer Sheet.

Candidates record their answers on an answer sheet (Parts 1, 4, 5 and 6 simply require them to lozenge the appropriate box, while for Parts 2 and 3, the answers need to be written out in capital letters).

Candidates write their answers on the answer sheets provided by shading a lozenge or by writing words (three to six words allowed for answers in Part 4). The answer sheet is marked according to a mark scheme and then scanned by computer. They must transfer their answers within the time given for the paper (1 hour).
