SYNERIOS offers National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) edits. These NCCI edits are updated regularly (latest update occurred in April of 2002). The National Correct Coding Initiative edits are from the Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services. These edits tells you what procedures and services you can’t bill at the same time for the same patient on the same date of service.
