Why isn’t my external hard drive recognized by the Neuros OSD?
If you want to record to/play from an external hard drive, you will need it to be formatted in FAT 32 file system. A complete step by step guide on how to do so using Windows and a free program can be found here. In addition, make sure the jumpers on the hard drive are set correctly, typically should be “cable select” or “master with no slave present” or the behavior may be erratic.
