What are collapsible panels?
Collapsible panels are implemented on a web page to allow for the raising or lowering (hiding or showing) of a section of information similar to raising and lowering a projection screen. On the Sutter County website by clicking the section tabs in the left or right margins, such as the Main Menu or Board of Supervisors tabs, the text and links either will be shown or hidden depending upon its current state. The questions on this FAQ page are also an implementation of collapsible panels. Javascript must be enabled for collapsible panels to function. Additionally, cookies must be enabled in order to remember the last collapsible state for a given panel. This feature will not function on older browsers such as Netscape 4 or earlier. For more information on cookies and Javascript, see the appropriate sections below.
