A printable film combines the easy handling of a paste adhesive with the performance and control of a film adhesive. Printable films are screen or stencil printed onto the substrate and then B-staged, after which they behave just like a film. The advantages of a printable film include tight fillet and bond line thickness control, minimal die tilt and lower total cost of ownership compared to a film.
