What is P and S Drive Archiving?

P and S Drive archiving provides a way for older files to remain accessible via P and S drive, whilst also freeing up space on these drives. The archive process will move files selected for archiving, to the archive server and a link will remain on P or S drive to enable easy access to the archived file. It is designed to maintain a central area for archived data that is secure and backed up. The process will be fairly transparent to the user. Archived data will be fully retrievable for up to 5 years.
