whats a signature file?
Long ago, in a world far far away (but remarkably similar to ours) people had no web access. Why? There was no web yet… This understandably shocking situation left them with but one choice – to discuss their unfortunate plight by email. Eventually, they tired of typing in their names at the end of their emails. After all, their wrists could only take so much typing, or they’d get carpal tunnel syndrome (another thing that was yet to grab the worlds attention) Thus, the signature file. It’s called a file because it was one. It was usually called something like ‘signature.txt’ or something similarly obscure. The email program would add the contents of that file to the email on its way out. Simple really. So grab a Coolsig, and add it to your email.
