Does my voter registration ever “expire”?

0

If you vote it usually keeps your registration active for at least 5 to 10 years, depending on where you live. But, occasionally they clear out the voting lists and accidently remove someone by mistake, so it does not hurt to check with your voting registrar or to just re-register if you are not sure. If you are registered and they tell you you cannot vote on election day, them you want to file a provisional ballot.
