What is a Category A credit?

0

The ARRT defines what Category A credit is, however it is the RCEEM (Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism) who awards the CE Credit. The ARRT RCEEMs are: ACR, AHRA, AIUM, ASRT, CAMRT, RSNA, SDMS, SMRT, SNM-TS, AND SVU. The ARRT will accept RCEEM approved Category A credits. Always be sure you are only taking radiology CE credits that are approved for category A credit by a recognized RCEEM like the ASRT. If you get a certificate without an approval number, the credits are not valid for reporting. Our policy at CE Essentials, LLC is to submit all of our courses to the ASRT for approval. All of our courses are ASRT approved for Category A Credit.
