Do all turntables today come with a ground wire?

Depending on the cartridge in the tone arm, it may or may not need a ground wire. If it uses a ceramic cartridge and standard RCA plugs ( the outer “cap” is ground) then no other ground is needed. Some tables though, used a high compliance magnetic cartridge in a plastic tone arm and had a metal shield around the cartridge with a “third” wire run to ground to prevent hum. The ones with a metal tone arm didn’t need the ground wire.
